Competition Overview

The SEED (Student Entrepreneurship, Enterprise & Development) Competition is an annual pitch competition designed to support international students and recent graduates in Newfoundland and Labrador who are developing innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial ventures.

Whether you’re building a tech startup, launching a social enterprise, or creating a service business, SEED provides you with mentorship, training, and the opportunity to win funding to turn your vision into reality. Our competition connects you with experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and potential investors who can help accelerate your journey from idea to launch.

Study and Stay NL Participation Required.
The SEED Competition is exclusively for active Study and Stay NL cohort participants. You must be accepted into and actively participating in the Study and Stay NL Program to compete in SEED.

Once accepted into Study and Stay NL, to participate in the SEED Pitch Competition, you must also:
