The Atlantic Ocean moderates temperatures year-round, preventing extreme heat in summer and extreme cold in winter compared to inland Canada. Expect moderate, humid conditions.

West Coast is generally warmer and less foggy. Central Newfoundland is drier with better snow conditions. Labrador experiences colder temperatures with drier, powdery snow.
